Privacy Policy Live Luxe Last updated: 6 August 2026 Live Luxe manages and lets short-stay accommodation across Melbourne. This policy explains how we handle your personal information, and applies to this website (liveluxe.holidayfuture.com), to enquiries and bookings you make with us, and to your stay. We are bound by the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles. 1. The information we collect When you enquire or book: your name, email address, phone number, the dates and property you're interested in, the number and type of guests in your party, and anything else you choose to tell us in your message — for example accessibility requirements, a late arrival, or the reason for your trip. When you stay: your billing details, identity or age verification where a building or an owners corporation requires it, the number of people staying, vehicle and parking details where parking is included, and records of your communications with us. Payment details. We do not store your full card number. Card payments are processed by our payment provider, and we receive only a confirmation and the last four digits. Automatically, when you use this website: your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, and how you arrived. This is collected through cookies and similar technologies — see section 7. From third parties: if you booked through Airbnb, Booking.com or Vrbo, we receive the booking and guest details that platform passes to us under its own terms. Sensitive information. We do not seek sensitive information as defined by the Privacy Act. If you volunteer it — a health condition or dietary requirement affecting your stay, for example — we use it only to respond to that request. 2. How we collect it Directly from you, through the enquiry form on this website, by email, by phone, by message, and at check-in. Indirectly from the booking platforms listed above, and from a booking's lead guest where they book on behalf of others. If you give us another person's details, please make sure they know and agree. 3. Why we collect it, and what we do with it We collect personal information to: respond to your enquiry and give you availability and a price; take, confirm, change and manage your booking; send check-in instructions, access codes and the property address; take payment, hold or apply a security deposit, and issue receipts and invoices; provide guest support before and during your stay; meet the access, security and registration requirements of the building or owners corporation your accommodation sits in; investigate damage, loss, a breach of the House Rules, or a complaint from a neighbour or building manager; keep the records the law requires us to keep, and meet our tax obligations; with your consent, send you occasional offers or news about staying with us. We do not sell your personal information. 4. Who we share it with Hostaway , our property management platform, which operates this website and stores our booking records. Professional advisers, insurers, and debt recovery , where reasonably necessary. Law enforcement, courts or regulators , where we are required or authorised by law. 5. Overseas disclosure Some of the providers we use store or process information outside Australia. How we keep it, and for how long We hold your information in Hostaway and in our email and accounting systems, protected by access controls, encryption in transit, and limits on who in our team can see what. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect information from misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. We keep booking and financial records for at least seven years , as our tax and record-keeping obligations require. Enquiries that don't become bookings are kept for 24 months and then deleted. Where we no longer need information and are not required to keep it, we destroy it or de-identify it. If something goes wrong. If we suffer a data breach likely to result in serious harm, we will notify you and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner as the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme requires. 7. Cookies and website analytics This website uses cookies to keep the site working, remember your search, and measure how the site is used. It currently runs Google Analytics , New Relic performance monitoring, and a Meta integration. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some parts of the site may not work properly if you do. 8. Marketing We will only send you marketing if you have opted in or if you are an existing guest and would reasonably expect it. Every marketing message carries an unsubscribe link, and we act on unsubscribes promptly, as the Spam Act 2003 (Cth) requires. Unsubscribing from marketing does not stop the operational messages about a booking you have made. 9. Accessing and correcting your information You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it if it's wrong. Write to the address in section 11. We will respond within 30 days . There is no charge to make a request; if it takes substantial work to compile, we will tell you the cost before we start. If we refuse access or a correction, we will tell you why in writing and how to complain. 10. Complaints If you think we have mishandled your personal information, write to us at the address in section 11 with the details. We will acknowledge within 5 business days and give you a written response within 30 days .
