Stature 2BR Lvl 20 - Skyline Stay, Southbank

Great for a short stay trip but would like better communication from hosts. Positive: Great location and easy to get around. Building was easy to find and the view from the apartment was stunning with a lot of natural light during the day. It did take us a while to figure out where the pool and gym was as it wasn't mentioned on the listing or any of the info given by hosts. Apartment was equipped with the essentials which was very handy during our stay. It also had an iron and ironing board wit a few hangers in the closet which we could use to hang our clothes. Negative: I tried to message the host multiple times through booking.com and have not received any response. I was worried if my booking had been actioned and if I would need to find a back up option.... I messaged to request of parking was available, as listing said it could be available upon request and would need to be arranged in advance but I never heard back. Dining Chairs were very wobbly, and squeaky when sitting down so we just avoided using them which was a bit annoying. There were no spare blankets which would've been handy for the cold winter nights as the heating is only in the living room and we didn't want to blast the heat all night to reach both bedrooms. Both bathroom showers have no seal when the door is closed, so we had to put a towel down of the floor to avoid big puddles when showering which was a minor inconvenience as we had to use a towel for each bathroom and there were no spares.

Positive: I loved the views and that it was close enough to tram stops which made it so much easier to get about Negative: I couldn't park my car but apart from that nothing at all

Our stay was underwhelming and the "pets allowed" fault in the system was an issue. Positive: The location was good and the apartment was clean. Negative: But unfortunately I have several disappointing comments to make. I don't usually do reviews, let alone negative ones, however, I hope this feedback is taken on board. Firstly we chose and booked this apartment because it came up as an availabile option using the "pets allowed" search. I notified the host we had a small dog and they advised pets were not allowed. I explained that I had specifically used the "pets allowed" filter. I even did another search as a test on a future date with "pets allowed" selected - and it came up as an available option once again. The reason provided by the host was very confusing. Secondly we paid extra to arrive an hour early at 2pm and leave an hour later at 11am. However 30 minutes of this extra time that we paid for was taken up walking down the road to the IGA to collect the keys and return them back to the IGA on departure. It's unfortunate that although the apartment sleeps a family of 4, the sofa in the living room is only a 2-seater. Therefore 2 of us had to sit at the table and chairs behind the sofa to watch the tv together. A few additional smaller small points that I would usually dismiss, but think I may as well mention: - the coffee pods provided for the coffee machine are the wrong size and slip straight through the machine - the toilet roll holder in the ensuite is loose and does not hold the toilet roll - the bolts on the dining chairs were loose and we tightened them - the bed pillows were very thin and soft (apart from 1) - the quilts are thin and there are no extra blankets provided.

Positive: The only good thing was the location. Otherwise the listing was quite misleading as it states the parking was included but no parking provided. I incurred significant parking cost for four days. Negative: The listing was misleading, no parking provided as advertised, and the property was not clean. It was dusty throughout, the vacuum cleaner was dirty, and the air-conditioning had a foul smell due to an unclean filter. The laundry room also had visible mould. Overall, the accommodation was poorly maintained and not worth the price charged. I would not recommend staying here.
