Hotels = Standards. Positive: The location was perfect. It was a nice building with good facilities. Negative: I know this wasn't a hotel, but the standards were not met. This was a basic and tired regular apartment. I paid a lot of money for a basic experience. The fact that I had to pay a $400 bond or a $55 fee waiver was extortion. Also having a later check in time than any other place in the city and charged $65 to check in 1 hour early was extortion. I had to fix the wifi issues myself because the instructions I was provided were wrong and the shower drain was blocked. The bed was a terrible foam mattress

Positive: Perfect location in Melbourne CBD, staff was kind and easy to reach via Booking platform, magnificent view from the balcony

Average Positive: Pool, steam room, sauna, spa pool, close to markets Negative: It wasn't clean, very dusty I had to vacuum, there was hair everywhere, bedside lamps weren't working, the wifi connection was bad, no iron provided

We LOVED our stay. Our host was fantastic and the room was perfect. Positive: Very simple and very easy to collect keys. We woke up every morning and jumped in the jacuzzi - the best bit! The hotel itself is beautiful. Would happily stay here again. Negative: Nothing! Was a great stay
